19. J modeling#

19.1. Characteristics of modeling#

A simulation in flat deformations is carried out: a modeling with elements QUAD4 EnD_ PLANpour the cells of PATIN and BATI and D_ PLAN_JOINT for the joint FISS. We test the functionalities of penalized contact in compression with friction treated via a JOIN_MECA_FROT law of behavior.

The game between the skate and the frame is only defined for the visualization of contact, it does not influence the physical results (particularity of joint modeling). The regularization parameter of the law is chosen so as not to influence (less than \(0.01\text{\%}\)) the final replacement of the sliding pad.

K_N

: \({K}_{n}={10}^{5}N/{\mathrm{mm}}^{3}\) compression and sliding penalty parameter

To avoid rigid body movements, the skate is held in place by springs of low stiffness:

RES_LAT

: \(k\mathrm{=}2N\mathrm{/}\mathit{mm}\)

RES_HAUT

: \(k\mathrm{=}\mathrm{0,005}N\mathrm{/}\mathit{mm}\)

Boundary conditions:

Free end of the springs: \(\mathit{DX}\mathrm{=}\mathit{DY}\mathrm{=}0\).

Built: \(\mathit{DX}\mathrm{=}\mathit{DY}\mathrm{=}0\).
