5.1. Characteristics of modeling

A D_ PLAN modeling with QUAD4 elements testing the functionalities of node-mesh contact with friction treated with the continuous method has been implemented.

The game between the skate and the frame is defined by a function using the keyword « DIST_2 ».

To avoid rigid body movements, the skate is held in place by springs of low stiffness:

RES_LAT	: \(k=2N/\mathrm{mm}\)
RES_HAUT	: \(k=\mathrm{0,005}N/\mathrm{mm}\)

Boundary conditions:

Free end of the springs: \(\mathrm{DX}=\mathrm{DY}=0\)

Built: \(\mathrm{DX}=\mathrm{DY}=0\).
