15. H modeling#

15.1. Characteristics of modeling#

A D_ PLAN modeling with QUAD4 elements testing the functionalities of node-mesh contact with friction treated with the continuous method for contact and friction has been implemented.

The play between the skate and the frame is defined by the geometric coordinates of the mesh.

To avoid rigid body movements, the skate is held in place by springs of low stiffness:

RES_LAT

: \(k\mathrm{=}2N\mathrm{/}\mathit{mm}\)

RES_HAUT

: \(k\mathrm{=}\mathrm{0,005}N\mathrm{/}\mathit{mm}\)

Boundary conditions:

Free end of springs: \(\mathit{DX}\mathrm{=}\mathit{DY}\mathrm{=}0\).

Built: \(\mathit{DX}\mathrm{=}\mathit{DY}\mathrm{=}0\).

15.2. Characteristics of the mesh#

Number of knots: 53

Number and types of meshes: 33 QUAD4, 32 SEG2
