13. G modeling#
13.1. Characteristics of modeling#
A 3D modeling with HEXA8 elements testing the functionalities of node-mesh contact with friction treated with the penalized method for contact and friction has been implemented.

The play between the skate and the frame is defined by the geometric coordinates of the mesh.
To avoid rigid body movements, the skate is held in place by springs of low stiffness:
RES_HAUT |
: \(k\mathrm{=}1N\mathrm{/}\mathit{mm}\) |
RES_FOND |
: \(k\mathrm{=}1N\mathrm{/}\mathit{mm}\) |
RES_LAT |
: \(k\mathrm{=}20N\mathrm{/}\mathit{mm}\) |
Boundary conditions:
Free end of the springs: \(\mathit{DX}\mathrm{=}\mathit{DY}\mathrm{=}\mathit{DZ}\mathrm{=}0\).
Built: \(\mathit{DX}\mathrm{=}\mathit{DY}\mathrm{=}\mathit{DZ}\mathrm{=}0\).
13.2. Characteristics of the mesh#
Number of knots: 269
Number and type of meshes: 129 HEXA8, 103 QUAD4
