3.1. Characteristics of modeling#
A D_ PLAN modeling is used for solid elements with the CONTINUE method for the treatment of CONTACT with “SIMPSON2” integration.

The meshes of the 2 contact surfaces are incompatible. 12 finite elements SEG2 are arranged on the initial contact surface of the plate 1 and only 11 on the contact surface of the other surface.
By activating the SIMPSON2 keyword, three sub-elements are used to integrate contact terms.
