13.1. Characteristics of modeling#
3D modeling is used for solid elements with method CONTINUE for the treatment of CONTACT for mixed linear/quadratic elements.
13.2. Characteristics of the mesh#

13.4. notes#
The slave contact surface is meshed in TRIA3 and the master contact surface is meshed in QUAD8. Use with QUAD8 elements for the slave surface and TRIA3 for the master surface does not satisfy the compatibility conditions necessary for the proper integration of contact terms [R5.03.52].
