10.1. Characteristics of modeling#
A D_ PLAN modeling is used for solid elements with the CONTINUE method for the treatment of CONTACT between linear mixed elements and quadratic elements.

The meshes are incompatible. 12 finite elements SEG2 are arranged on the initial contact surface of the slave plate and only 11 finite elements SEG3 are arranged on the master contact surface.
By activating the NCOTES2 keyword, a Newton-Cotes schema coupled with a sub-element subdivision technique was used to integrate contact terms.
