v6.04.186 SSNV186 — LBB condition and rubbing contact with X- FEM#
Summary
The purpose of this test is to validate the consideration of contact (by the continuous method [bib1]) on the lips of the crack as part of the X- FEM [bib2] method, when the LBB condition [bib3] [bib4] is not respected.
Contact/friction is treated by an augmented Lagrangian algorithm for A to H models and by a penalized algorithm for I to K models.
This test involves a parallelepipedic block in compression. The interface crossing it is represented by a level set. The interface is straight, non—leaning, and goes all the way through the elements.
