9. G modeling: triangles (algorithm version 1)#

9.1. Characteristics of the mesh#

The structure is modelled by a regular mesh composed of triangles. The test is the 2D equivalent of B modeling (See [Figure 9.1-1]).

9.2. Tested features#

Friction is taken into account and the contact is active from the 1st iteration of active stresses.

The algorithm for restricting the space of Lagrange multipliers is No. 1.

9.3. Tested sizes and results#

The contact pressure value is tested at point \(P\) with coordinates \((\mathrm{10,}17.5)\).

9.4. Comments#

This modeling shows that the algorithm put in place makes it possible to effectively reduce oscillations. (see [Figure 11.2-1]).
