v2.08.012 FORMA12 — Practical work from the « introduction to linear & non-linear dynamic analysis » training course#
Summary:
This case is an introduction to using Code_Aster for dynamic transient analysis (linear and non-linear). It treats a thick steel plate, subject to sinusoidal excitation on a vibrating table.
The plate is modelled in 3D elements. Transient analysis on a modal basis is compared with a direct transient analysis. In the last part, the plasticity of steel is taken into account by a non-linear law.
The various models discussed are:
modeling A: modal analysis;
B modeling: direct transient;
C modeling: transient on a modal basis with static correction a priory;
D modeling: transient on a modal basis with a posteriori static correction;
E modeling: non-linear transient;
F modeling: linear transient with contact nonlinearity;
G modeling: non-linear transient by dynamic substructuring.
The first chapter introduces the geometry and data common to all models.
