1. Notations

The notations used here are not all the same as those used in [U4.42.01], for reasons of compactness and consistency with [R3.08.03].

The correspondence between this notation and that of the user documentation is given.

\(\mathrm{DX},\mathrm{DY},\mathrm{DZ}\) and \(\mathrm{DRX},\mathrm{DRY},\mathrm{DRZ}\) are the names of the degrees of freedom associated with the components of the \(u,v,w,{\theta }_{x},{\theta }_{y},{\theta }_{z}\) displacement.
