1. Purpose#
Define the parameters or physical characteristics of a material, which will be used to express the laws of behavior, or the parameters associated with fatigue, damage, or simplified methods.
The physical parameters currently accepted by this operator concern the following fields: Mechanics and Thermal, linear or not, Metallurgic for the modeling of steels and Zircaloy, Hydration and Drying for concretes, Fluid for acoustics, Fluid for acoustics, Thermo-Hydro-Mechanics for the modeling of saturated porous media in coupled thermo-mechanics and Drying for concretes, Fluid for acoustics, Fluid for acoustics, Thermo-Hydro-Mechanics for modeling saturated porous media in coupled thermo-mechanics and Drying for concretes, Fluid for acoustics, Fluid for acoustics, Thermal-Mechanics **.
If necessary, the same material can be defined during a call to DEFI_MATERIAU with several series of physical parameters.
