Purpose

Define the parameters or physical characteristics of a material, which will be used to express the laws of behavior, or the parameters associated with fatigue, damage, or simplified methods.

The physical parameters currently accepted by this operator concern the following fields: **Mechanics** and **Thermal**, linear or not, **Metallurgic** for the modeling of steels and Zircaloy, **Hydration** and **Drying** for concretes, **Fluid** for acoustics, **Fluid** for acoustics, **Thermo-Hydro-Mechanics** for the modeling of saturated porous media in coupled thermo-mechanics and **Drying** for concretes, **Fluid** for acoustics, **Fluid** for acoustics, **Thermo-Hydro-Mechanics** for modeling saturated porous media in coupled thermo-mechanics and **Drying** for concretes, **Fluid** for acoustics, **Fluid** for acoustics, **Thermal-Mechanics** **.

If necessary, the same material can be defined during a call to DEFI_MATERIAU with several series of physical parameters.

Produces a ``master" data structure.
