v3.04.154 SSLV154 — Circular crack in mixed mode#
Summary:
The purpose of this test is to validate the calculation of stress intensity factors (SIFs) along the bottom of a 3D crack in mixed mode, in the context of linear elasticity.
This test involves a cube with a flat central circular crack, subjected to a force inclined with respect to the plane of the crack.
This test contains 2 models:
Modeling A: the crack is meshed (FEM) with a radiant mesh at the bottom of the crack;
B modeling: the crack is not meshed, it is represented by level-sets (X- FEM)
C modeling: the crack is meshed (FEM) for incompressible elements (_ INCO_UPG);
D modeling: the crack is meshed (FEM) with free mesh from Zcracks
For each model, SIFs are evaluated by commands POST_K1_K2_K3 and CALC_G.
Numerical values are compared to analytical values.
