This documentation is intended to provide the information needed by a user wishing to model crack initiation and propagation with cohesive models (CZM).
In the first part, we recall the main lines of this type of model, their fields of application, advantages and limitations. The second part is intended to provide specific recommendations for creating meshing. Tips for use in various fields of fracture mechanics are detailed in the third part. Finally, we end this documentation with an example of a command file commented with reference to the advice given in the parts above.
