9. Features and verification

This documentation describes the modeling of touch-friction by the so-called « continuous » method. For its use, we can refer to the user documentation for the DEFI_CONTACT command and to the modeling manual U2.04.04.

There are around sixty test cases validating the various functionalities related to touch/friction, including:

• The Hertz contact test case: see ssnv104;
