7. Summary of results

The results obtained are satisfactory, both in \(\mathrm{3D}\) and \(\mathrm{2D}\). There is a maximum difference less than \(\mathrm{0,2}\text{\%}\) between SIMO_MIEHE (taken as a reference) and the GDEF_LOG formalism.

This test also validates the good functioning of GDEF_LOG under plane constraints.

Moreover, for all models, the equivalent stress remains constant during the rotation phases.
