6. D modeling#
6.1. Characteristic of modeling#
The modeling used is two-dimensional under plane stress (C_ PLAN). The aim of this modeling is to validate the large deformation algorithm GDEF_LOG in C_ PLAN. We therefore compare the results with those obtained by GDEF_LOG in modeling \(C\), which treats an equivalent problem in 3D.
6.2. Characteristics of the mesh#
The mesh consists of a linear quadrangular mesh (with 4 knots).
