Summary:

This problem corresponds to a quasistatic analysis of a mechanical problem with contact. This is a very basic test on the quality of master/slave projection and on geometric updating, in particular on non-plane quadratic cells.

This test includes 5 models:

  • Modeling A: with a linear mesh (QUAD4) in DISCRETE contact formulation and with REAC_GEOM =” CONTROLE “;

  • B modeling: with a quadratic mesh (QUAD8) in DISCRETE contact formulation and with REAC_GEOM =” CONTROLE “;

  • C modeling: with a quadratic mesh (QUAD9) in DISCRETE contact formulation and with REAC_GEOM =” CONTROLE “;

  • D modeling: with a linear mesh (QUAD4) in CONTINUE contact formulation;

  • E modeling: with a linear mesh (QUAD4) in contact formulation DISCRETE, method GCP and with REAC_GEOM =” AUTOMATIQUE “;

  • F modeling: with a linear mesh (QUAD8) in CONTINUE contact formulation;

  • G modeling: with a linear mesh (QUAD9) in CONTINUE contact formulation.
