6.4. notes#

The results obtained in quadratic with friction with the continuous formulation are in very good agreement with those obtained in the benchmark (here those from code MARC).
It should be noted that the contact pressure as well as the tangential stress measured from the degrees of freedom LAGS_C and LAGS_F1 of the continuous formulation fit perfectly with the quantities calculated by MARC. CALC_PRESSION is used for extrapolated pressures.
As was the case without friction, the oscillations are much less important in quadratic, which is also the case for MARC.
