5. C modeling#

Modeling: COQUE (QUAD9 + SEG3)

_images/Object_4.svg

5.1. Characteristics of modeling#

Because of the boundary conditions and loads, the modeling is independent of the width of the sides \(\mathit{AD}\) and \(\mathit{BC}\) (the temperature distribution is uniform along the width).

5.2. Characteristics of the mesh#

We have 33 knots in total

5 QUAD9 stitches on the average surface of the shell

1 SEG3 mesh on the BC side

5.4. notes#

As expected, the temperature distribution is uniform across the width. All the results obtained are clearly within the accepted tolerance range.
