5. C modeling#
Modeling: COQUE (QUAD9 + SEG3)
5.1. Characteristics of modeling#
Because of the boundary conditions and loads, the modeling is independent of the width of the sides \(\mathit{AD}\) and \(\mathit{BC}\) (the temperature distribution is uniform along the width).
5.2. Characteristics of the mesh#
We have 33 knots in total
5 QUAD9 stitches on the average surface of the shell
1 SEG3 mesh on the BC side

5.4. notes#
As expected, the temperature distribution is uniform across the width. All the results obtained are clearly within the accepted tolerance range.
