3. Modeling A#

3.1. Characteristics of modeling#

Because of the symmetry of the boundary conditions and the loads, the modeling is independent of the width of the sides \(\mathrm{AD}\) and \(\mathrm{BC}\) (the temperature distribution is uniform in the direction of the width).

Modeling: COQUE (QUAD8 + SEG3)

3.4. notes#

As expected, the temperature distribution is uniform across the width. All the results obtained are within the accepted tolerance interval which corresponds to the assumed uncertainty in the results of the graphical estimation.
