8.1. Characteristics of modeling#

The plate is then cut into 5 elements along its width and into 40 elements along its length. It is modelled by the nonlinear law GLRC_DAMAGE.

The steel cable is modelled by BARRE elements. The cable is discretized into 41 elements.
