8.1. Characteristics of modeling#

Modeling: Q4GG
Type of finite elements: Quadrangle (QUAD4), dimension of \(\mathrm{0.1m}\).
The plate is then cut into 5 elements along its width and into 40 elements along its length. It is modelled by the nonlinear law GLRC_DAMAGE.
The steel cable is modelled by BARRE elements. The cable is discretized into 41 elements.
8.2. Tested sizes and results#
We test the value of the displacement at node \(D\) along the \(z\) axis.
