5. C modeling#
5.1. Characteristics of modeling#

Modeling: DKT
Type of finite elements: Triangle (TRIA3), dimension of \(\mathrm{0.1m}\).
Two triangle elements are created based on a quadrangle element from the model from the previous modeling.
The plate is then cut into 5 elements along its width and into 40 elements along its length.
The steel frame is modelled by BARRE elements. The cable is discretized into 41 elements.
5.2. Tested sizes and results#
We test the value of the displacement at node D along the \(z\) axis.
