8. G modeling#

8.1. Characteristics of modeling#

The model consists of an eccentric plate of \(0.4m\) (PLAQ1) (compared to the initial mesh). The total thickness is \(\mathrm{0,8}m\). The elements used are Q4G plate elements.

The mesh is regular. We have 20 subdivisions according to \(x\) and 10 subdivisions according to \(y\); for a total of 200 cells QUAD4 and 231 knots. This modeling shows the influence of meshing on modeling DST.
