Summary:
This test represents a calculation of the stability of a console beam (IPE) subjected to a bending force at one end. The critical load leading to elastic buckling by deflection is calculated. The geometric rigidity matrix used in solving the eigenvalue problem is the one that is due to the initial constraints.
This test makes it possible to validate the COQUE_3D finite element modeling with the TRIA7 and QUAD9 meshes in the field of Euler linear buckling.
The critical load and the associated eigenmode are compared to an analytical reference solution.
