v1.01.185 ZZZZ185 - Validation of the MODI_MAILLAGE command associated with SYMETRIE and the PROJ_CHAMP command associated with DISTANCE_MAX

Summary:

The objective of this test case is to validate the command MODI_MAILLAGE with the keyword SYMETRIE and the command PROJ_CHAMP with the keyword DISTANCE_MAX.

• the MODI_MAILLAGE command, with the SYMETRIE keyword, allows you to take the symmetric of a \(\mathrm{2D}\) or \(\mathrm{3D}\) mesh,

• the PROJ_CHAMP command with the DISTANCE_MAX keyword allows you not to project the field onto nodes that do not meet the following 2 criteria:

1. the nodes are not in an element of the 1st mesh,

2. the nodes are beyond DISTANCE_MAX.

The test case consists in carrying out:

• a thermal study on 1/8th of the structure,

• the construction of the thermal field on 1/4 of the structure by projecting the results obtained onto the 1/8th of the structure, taking into account a plane of symmetry,

• a thermal study on 1/4 of the structure,

• the comparison of the temperature field obtained by projection and by a study on 1/4 of the structure.
