2. Benchmark solution#
2.1. Calculation method#
For this test case, 2 studies are carried out.
The first study is carried out on 1/8th of the structure. The calculation is a linear thermal analysis, with the boundary conditions described in [§1.2].
The second study is carried out on 1/4 of a structure. The calculation is a linear thermal analysis, with the boundary conditions described in [§1.2].

2.2. Reference quantities and results#
The reference result is the temperature field.
The result of the study on 1/8th of a structure and its mesh are saved in a file in the « MED » format. The projected fields will then be compared to those obtained by the study carried out on 1/4 of a structure.
The [Figure] gives the temperature field obtained on 1/8th of the structure.

2.3. Uncertainty about the solution#
No meaning in this case.
The purpose of the test case is to verify that the symmetry of the mesh and that the projections of the temperature field are correctly made.
