4. B modeling#
4.1. Characteristics of modeling#
We use a AXIS_DIAG model for the thermal and a AXIS_SI model for the mechanics. Since the test introduces large deformations, the GDEF_LOG formalism is used.

4.2. Characteristics of meshes#
Two meshes are used (one for each phenomenon).
For thermal engineering, a mesh of elements with linear interpolation is used:
22 elements of type QUAD4.
22 knots.
For mechanics, a mesh of elements with quadratic interpolation is used:
22 elements of type QUAD8.
53 knots.
4.3. Tested sizes and results#
The temperature on the inner wall of the cylinder is tested at the end of the transition period.

We have the temperature in the thickness of the cylinder at the end of the calculation and we have compared it to the result of L. ADAM. It can be seen that we are getting the same results.

4.4. notes#
The results obtained with the coupling introduced in Code_Aster give good results.
