v7.12.303 HSLA303 - Cylinder under pressure and thermal expansion#

Summary:

The calculation is carried out axisymmetrically. The aim of the test is to validate the pre-deformations (keyword PRE_EPSI).

The cylinder is subjected to homogeneous thermal expansion (\(\Delta T\) constant).

The procedure followed is as follows:

  • let \({\varepsilon }_{1}\) be the field of deformations resulting from a first calculation, the cylinder being subjected to homogeneous thermal expansion \(\Delta T\) (\({U}_{1}\) the field of resulting movements),

  • in a second calculation, the cylinder is subjected to internal pressure, with the deformation field \({\varepsilon }_{1}\) as pre-deformations (i.e. \({U}_{2}\) the resulting displacement field),

  • the results are then compared with field \(U\), obtained with a cylinder under pressure, but without pre-deformations. We have to have the relationship: \({U}_{2}\mathrm{=}U+{U}_{1}\).
