.. _V7.12.303: **v7.12.303** HSLA303 - Cylinder under pressure and thermal expansion ======================================================================= **Summary:** The calculation is carried out axisymmetrically. The aim of the test is to validate the pre-deformations (keyword PRE_EPSI). The cylinder is subjected to homogeneous thermal expansion (:math:`\Delta T` constant). The procedure followed is as follows: * let :math:`{\varepsilon }_{1}` be the field of deformations resulting from a first calculation, the cylinder being subjected to homogeneous thermal expansion :math:`\Delta T` (:math:`{U}_{1}` the field of resulting movements), * in a second calculation, the cylinder is subjected to internal pressure, with the deformation field :math:`{\varepsilon }_{1}` as pre-deformations (i.e. :math:`{U}_{2}` the resulting displacement field), * the results are then compared with field :math:`U`, obtained with a cylinder under pressure, but without pre-deformations.
