5. C modeling#
5.1. Characteristics of modeling#
3D volume modeling is used for concrete and a grid_excenter model is used for reinforcements whose support meshes are triangles with three nodes.
5.2. Characteristics of the mesh#

Number of knots: 8
Number of meshes:
1 hexa8 mesh for concrete
2 tria3 meshes for the reinforcement layers (\(\mathit{N05}\mathrm{-}\mathit{N02}\mathrm{-}\mathit{N08}\) and \(\mathit{N08}\mathrm{-}\mathit{N02}\mathrm{-}\mathit{n03}\))
Two grille_excenter models are defined for the reinforcements (one in the local \(X\) direction, one in the local \(Y\) direction)
In addition to the boundary conditions described in §1.4, conditions \(\mathrm{DRX}=0\), \(\mathrm{DRY}=0\), \(\mathrm{DRZ}=0\) are added
at nodes N02-N03- NO5 -N08.
