4. B modeling#

4.1. Characteristics of modeling#

We use 3D volume modeling for concrete and a grid_membrane model for reinforcements whose support meshes are quadrangles with four nodes.

Number of knots: 8

Number of meshes:

  • 1 hexa8 mesh for concrete

  • 1 quad4 mesh for the reinforcement layers (N05-N02-N03-N08)

Two grid_membrane models are defined for the reinforcements (one in direction \(X\), one in direction \(Y\))
