3. Modeling A#

3.1. Characteristics of modeling#

A 3D volume modeling is used for concrete and a grid_membrane model is used for reinforcements whose support meshes are triangles with 3 nodes.

Number of meshes:

  • 1 hexa8 mesh for concrete

  • 2 tria3 meshes for the reinforcement layers (\(\mathit{N05}\mathrm{-}\mathit{N02}\mathrm{-}\mathit{N08}\) and \(\mathit{N08}\mathrm{-}\mathit{N02}\mathrm{-}\mathit{N03}\))

Two grid_membrane models are defined for the reinforcements (one following the local direction \(X\), one following the local direction \(Y\))
