v6.04.138 SSNV138 - Cantilever plate in large rotations subjected to a moment#
Summary:
Quasi-static calculation of an elastic plate embedded on one side and subjected to a moment of bending on the other side, leading to large rotations of the plate.
Interest:
Test geometric nonlinear finite elements COQUE_3D (A and C models), DKT (A and C models), (E and F models), DKTG (G and H models), and POU_D_T_GD (B modeling) using the large rotation update algorithm \(\mathrm{3D}\) GROT_GDEP in STAT_NON_LINE.
Also compare the results to the finite element of multi-fiber girder POU_D_TGM, which makes it possible to treat large rotations under the assumption of small loading increments.
Note:
This test is the plate version of the beam test case SSNL103. The mechanical characteristics have been modified in order to support surface modeling.
