7. Modeling E#
7.1. Characteristics of modeling#
This modeling is identical to modeling D. The only difference is in the management of the time step.
Management of the sub-division of the time step by event-driven: If at convergence, the displacement increment is such as \(\mathrm{max}(\mathrm{DX},\mathrm{DY})>5.e-2\) on a node of the mesh, then the time step is re-divided.
7.2. Tested sizes and results#
The same values as those of modeling D are tested, with the same tolerances.
