v6.04.126 SSNV126 - Anisothermal traction-relaxation test specimen with the VENDOCHAB model#

Summary:

Model VENDOCHAB uses a formulation proposed by Chaboche. It is a coupled formulation that covers an elasto-viscoplastic law with multiplicative isotropic work hardening and isotropic damage kinetics. This law was initially developed to predict the lifespan and cracking of turbojet blades and more generally to predict the failure time of structures subjected to stress at high temperatures.

This nonlinear quasistatic mechanical test makes it possible to validate model VENDOCHAB in \(\mathrm{3D}\) in the case of a specimen subjected to an anisothermal uniaxial tensile test. The states of stress and deformation are homogeneous in the test piece. This test also validates the explicit and implicit integration of this model. The equations of this coupled formulation are described in the reference paper [R5.03.15].

Two models of the test piece are tested, one with a single \(\mathrm{3D}\) element at 8 knots (HEXA8), the other with a quadrangle with 8 knots (QUAD8) at AXIS.
