A AXIS model is used with the CONTINUE contact formulation. This modeling validates feature GLISSIERE by relieving the imposed overwriting.

6.4. notes#

The results obtained with formulation CONTINUE are very close to those obtained with formulation DISCRETE and in good agreement with the analytical solution.

The differences observed in the displacements are explained by the integration scheme used in formulation CONTINUE: it is a schema at the nodes that does not allow the Jacobian to be correctly treated with the nullity of the Jacobian on the axis of revolution.
