7. Summary of results#

The 2012 version of the MAZARS model makes it possible to find the experimental breaking stress with an error of less than 5%.

Note: the gain compared to the 1984 model is especially visible in bi-compression, i.e. for the \(\omega \mathrm{=}0.52\) ratio. On the other hand, the deformation at break is far from the test because this model does not take into account the evolution of the Poisson’s ratio under bi-compression.
