v6.02.143 SSNL143 — Validation of the relaxation law for pre-stressed steel cables#
Summary:
The objective of this test is to validate the law of relaxation behavior of steel cables used in pre-stressed concrete. The validation is carried out against the expressions from BPEL. Three models are carried out:
Simulation of cable relaxation (class 1, \(k1=6.0E-03\), \(k2=1.10\)) (class 1,,), over a period of 4000 hours, with \(\mathrm{\mu }=0.75\).
Simulation of cable relaxation (class 2, \(k1=8.0E-03\), \(k2=1.25\)), over a period of 4000 hours, with \(\mathrm{\mu }=0.75\).
Simulation of a relaxation with variable deformation of a cable over a period of 6 years. Over the range [0,1an] imposed deformation \({\mathrm{\epsilon }}_{0}\) corresponding to \(\mathrm{\mu }=0.75\), over the range] 1 year, 3 years] imposed deformation of \(1.025\ast {\mathrm{\epsilon }}_{0}\), over the range] 3 years, 6 years] imposed deformation of \(1.050\ast {\mathrm{\epsilon }}_{0}\).
