.. _V6.02.143: **v6.02.143** SSNL143 — Validation of the relaxation law for pre-stressed steel cables =============================================================================================== **Summary:** The objective of this test is to validate the law of relaxation behavior of steel cables used in pre-stressed concrete. The validation is carried out against the expressions from BPEL. Three models are carried out: • a) Simulation of cable relaxation (class 1, :math:`k1=6.0E-03`, :math:`k2=1.10`) (class 1,,), over a period of 4000 hours, with :math:`\mathrm{\mu }=0.75`. • b) Simulation of cable relaxation (class 2, :math:`k1=8.0E-03`, :math:`k2=1.25`), over a period of 4000 hours, with :math:`\mathrm{\mu }=0.75`. • c) Simulation of a relaxation with variable deformation of a cable over a period of 6 years.
