v5.01.107 SDND107 - Release and seismic excitation of a system with a non-linear viscous damper of the « Zener » type#
Summary:
We test the response of the nonlinear viscous damper behavior model DIS_VISC, of the « generalized Zener » type, cf. [R5.03.17].
The aim is to validate the viscous law in linear and non-linear dynamics. The following tests are carried out:
in linear dynamics (operator DYNA_NON_LINE) in a case of letting go, using an assembly of linear discrete elements as a basis of comparison for the « Generalized Zener » law of behavior.
in non-linear dynamics (operator DYNA_NON_LINE) with a sinusoidal acceleration then a zero acceleration.
in transient non-linear dynamics (operator DYNA_VIBRA or DYNA_TRAN_MODAL with an Euler-type time diagram) with a sinusoidal acceleration then a zero acceleration. It’s the same study as B. The lawsuit is also validated.
D, E) in transient non-linear dynamics (operator DYNA_VIBRA or DYNA_TRAN_MODAL with two Runge-Kutta time schemes of order 5 and 3, with adaptive steps) with a sinusoidal acceleration then a zero acceleration. It’s the same study as B. The lawsuit is also validated.
This behavior is also validated with the STAT_NON_LINE command in SSND101 [V6.08.101].
