3. Modeling A#

3.1. Characteristics of modeling#

The modeling tested is DIS_T on SEG2 meshes. The stiffness characteristics of the discretes are of the K_T_D_L type.

3.2. Characteristics of the mesh#

Number of knots: 6, number of stitches: 5, elements SEG2: 2.

3.3. Boundary conditions and loads#

The test models a release attempt, the on-the-go condition is set to \({U}_{0}=0.1m\).

3.4. Discretization in time#

The time step, as part of the Newmark mean acceleration scheme, and the analysis time interval are:

3.5. Tested sizes and results#

The quantities tested are the displacement of the mass and the force to return the mass. The expressions for the solutions are given by the equations and.
