v4.25.100 TTLV100 - Thermal shock in a pipe with exchange condition#

Summary:

This transient linear thermal test consists in imposing a cold thermal shock on a hollow cylinder that is assumed to be infinite using an exchange limit condition.

The shock is modelled by a linear ramp \(\Delta T=–269°C\) in \(12s\).

The problem is treated axisymmetrically and in 3D.

The reference solution is obtained on a fine mesh.

The test is carried out on 3 models: (TRIA3, QUAD4), (,), (TRIA6, QUAD9), (,) in AXIS_DIAG and (HEXA8, PENTA6) in 3D_ DIAG.

We test the transient linear thermal algorithm when the mass matrix is diagonalized (modeling AXIS_DIAG and 3D_ DIAG with «  » mass lumping »).
