.. _V4.25.100: **v4.25.100** TTLV100 - Thermal shock in a pipe with exchange condition ============================================================================== **Summary:** This transient linear thermal test consists in imposing a cold thermal shock on a hollow cylinder that is assumed to be infinite using an exchange limit condition. The shock is modelled by a linear ramp :math:`\Delta T=–269°C` in :math:`12s`. The problem is treated axisymmetrically and in 3D. The reference solution is obtained on a fine mesh. The test is carried out on 3 models: (TRIA3, QUAD4), (,), (TRIA6, QUAD9), (,) in AXIS_DIAG and (HEXA8, PENTA6) in 3D_ DIAG.
