2.1. Calculation method used for the reference solution

The reference solution is obtained on a fine mesh comprising 99 quadratic elements QUAD8 in the thickness without the option of a diagonal thermal mass matrix.

2.2. Benchmark results

Temperatures at points \(\mathrm{M1}\) (\(r=443.33\)) and \(\mathrm{M2}\) (\(r=469.67\)),

and at different times (\(t=12.,100.,600.\) and \(2000.\)).
