6. Summary of results

Modeling AXIS_DIAG gives fairly satisfactory results. Although the mesh has only 3 elements in the thickness, the difference in temperatures remains less than 0.5%.

3D modeling_ DIAG gives satisfactory results. The temperature difference also remains less than 0.5%.

Despite the violence of the thermal shock, the diagonalization of the mass matrix thus makes it possible to obtain a temperature solution that does not oscillate during the transient.
