5. Summary of results

This document presents two tests to verify the calculation of the priming factor in the POST_RCCM operator for EVOLUTION results.

In particular, B modeling makes it possible to test the entire calculation on a cracked plane structure: calculation of the stresses in the structure, extraction of these stresses on circular cut lines with MACR_LIGN_COUPE and calculation of the priming factor with POST_RCCM. The results are satisfactory, but highlight the strong influence of the stress value (expressed in the local coordinate system) on the calculated use factor.

We therefore recall the need to use sufficiently fine meshes (preferably radiating) at the bottom of the crack to correctly capture the singularity of constraints linked to the presence of the geometric singularity.
