9. Summary of results

The results of the five models are very close to the analytical solution: a maximum of 0.4% difference for models COQUE_3D and DKT, and less than 2% difference for axisymmetric and 3D modeling, which is explained by the fact that the analytical solution is a thin shell solution.

This test therefore validates on the one hand the pressure forces varying linearly with the geometry, for thin shells, and on the other hand the consideration of orthotropic elasticity.
