1. Reference problem#

1.1. Geometry#

We consider a beam of length \(1m\) oriented according to \(X\) or according to \(Z\) depending on the models.

1.2. Loads#

1.2.1. Boundary conditions#

In each case, node \(A\) is embedded. Then, depending on the type of moment tested, node \(B\) can either be left free or supported in a given direction.

1.2.2. Divided moments#

The keywords MX, MY, MZ, MZ, MT, MFY and MFZ are applied in turn. The load is linear on the beam:

Knot

\(A\)

\(B\)

Value (N.m/m)

1000

2000

These non-constant loads are affected by the AFFE_CHAR_MECA_F command.

To test distributed moments affected by the AFFE_CHAR_MECA command, we complete this list with constant loads.
